About Kristen
I began my career in the financial services industry in 2006 and have been working in the mortgage industry since 2014. With nearly two decades of experience supporting clients through important financial decisions, I bring exceptional attention to detail and a strong ability to navigate complex situations. I truly enjoy helping people find the right mortgage solutions for their unique circumstances, including leveraging available grants and down payment assistance programs to make homeownership more accessible. I consider it a privilege to be part of the home‑buying journey. Being a small part of such a meaningful milestone in someone’s life is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.
Community involvement is very important to me. I volunteer actively and have been recognized annually for logging the highest number of volunteer hours of Chicago area colleagues over the past several years. I serve as the race director for an annual 5K that raises funds for music programs in our school district, helping raise over $35,000 in support of arts education. I have also volunteered with Ronald McDonald House Charities and Feed My Starving Children.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my children—attending their basketball games, track meets, and art shows. I’m an avid runner and regularly participate in the Chicago Marathon, and I also enjoy hiking and spending time outdoors. You’ll often find me with my Australian Shepherd, Roo, who keeps me active and makes sure I never miss a reason to get outside. Whether through my work or my volunteer efforts, I’m driven by a genuine desire to help others and make a positive impact.
